Beginning June 2nd, every Wednesday in June and July (except VBS) from 6:30 – 7:30 in the elementary classroom wing, our elementary classes will join together for a special lesson series called Making a Difference for God. We will learn about serving God and actually participate in a hands-on service project each night. The summer schedule is available at the information center in the lobby.

Wilson Avenue church of Christ will host their Vacation Bible School June 20-23 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Their theme this year is Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace.

The Children’s Ministry’s annual Advancement and Blessing service will be held Sunday, May 23 at the 6 p.m. service. Elementary children from each grade level will share some of the things they have learned this year. Bible Memory Challenge awards will be presented, and the 5th grade students will be welcomed into the youth group in a special way. Photos from the year’s activities will also be shared. Elementary children and their teachers should plan to arrive at 5:00 p.m. for a quick rehearsal. We hope everyone will plan to attend as we pray for and encourage our children. Central church of Christ in McMinnville will host their 33rd annual Ladies Day April 24 beginning at 9:00 a.m. This year’s theme will be “Treasuring Time Alone with God.” Childcare will be provided for children ages 6 months – 5 years with lunch provided for the children. A luncheon will be held from 11:00 a.m. – noon for ladies attending Ladies Day.

April 11 – 12 Cedar Lane will host the free No Debt No Sweat seminar beginning at 6:30 p.m. each evening at the building. Be prepared to experience a life-changing seminar that teaches God’s way of handling money. This is a great opportunity to learn some important concepts about finances; the knowledge you gain can be used for personal use or to mentor others. Childcare will be provided.
