This year’s Upward season is drawing to a close! The Upward Awards Celebration will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the church. If you haven’t been able to attend a game this season, see Steve or Susan Farmer for a schedule of the last games of the season, or just click on the Upward link above.
The weather is on the edge of being bad. We are leaving it to the individual Upward coaches as to whether their team will practice tonight (Tuesday, 2/16/10). We will post individual Team cancellations as we are notified.
We will also post a closing notice here if the roads become significantly worse and all practices have to be cancelled.

Evaluations for Upward begin on Thursday evening. There is still a need for volunteers to work at various stations during registration for October 27 and November 4. If you can help see Steve or Susan Farmer.

Upward Basketball Registration and Evaluation will be held at the building on October 23rd and 27th.
It is almost time for the 2008-2009 UPWARD Basketball season to begin here at Cedar Lane. There is a need for helpers for the upcoming registration and evaluations on the evenings of October 23rd, 27th and November 4th. Some of the positions that need to be filled are: greeters for players and their families as they enter our building, registering players, obtaining height and weight for uniform sizing, and evaluating players for skill level. Sign up sheets will be available in the adult classrooms as well as at the information center in the lobby. If you have questions see Steve or Susan Farmer.

Upward Basketball games continue through February 23rd, 2008. The games take place on Friday evenings and all day Saturday. The public is invited.
