Small Group Blogs
Some of our small groups have begun using the web as a tool for keeping in touch. Here is the link to the Abrahams/Muse Small Group blog.

Small Groups Make a BIG Difference
We are committed at the church of Christ at Cedar Lane to modeling the Christian message through the “one another” life in the public assembly and in our homes.
Home groups were fundamental to New Testament Christianity. It began with Jesus. The house was the natural means of teaching families. It is practical to share the good news where we live. The house is the center of home life. A Christian home communicates warmth and acceptance.
The purpose of our small groups is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We make disciples by evangelizing non-members, edifying members, and equipping members to spread the good news. Most of these groups meet in homes. Some occasionally meet at the building.
Small groups meet the first 3 Sundays of every month, generally in the evening. The 4th Sunday we meet together at the building at 6:00 p.m. The groups meet for at least one hour for specialized studies based on need.
The individual groups decide on childcare and/or instruction. Brent Bates guides the leaders.
